When I heard that the Fioretti was taking submissions for a winter-themed collection, I knew I wanted to contribute. What I ended up settling on was this piece, "Snowstorm". I took this as a challenge to combine my favored medium with a landscape-focused subject which was unfamiliar to me. It was a refreshing challenge. I hoped that I would get across a feeling of warmth despite the cold of a snowy landscape! Almost like a hope arriving with the dawn!
