"Consumer," by Anastasia K.P. Lucia

1 min read

Oh, the idiot,

Staring into a phone,

“Let me ask Chat GPT,”

You say,

“Chat GPT will do it for me.”

Eyes glazed over and dazed.

Are you even conscious?

Can't you think for yourself anymore?

Think on your own for once!

I would spit on Chat,

Pull the plug if I could.

Do you see yourself?

Lazy,

Idiot,

Consumer,

Controlled,

Stop and think for just a moment.

Do you see yourself?

Yes, you!

You, dying, mindless, dumb.

Your phone is pressed up to your eyes,

Now it's your best friend,

Oh,

Now it's you.
